Ricarda Schernus is a 200+ hrs RYT Vinyasa Flow, Yin and Restorative yoga teacher from Düsseldorf / Germany. She is also a trained meditation teacher and teaches group yoga classes as well as PT.
Ricarda discovered yoga in her mid-20s, when she was suffering from severe back pain, an eating-disorder and generally, found herself at a low point in life with the inner need for groundbreaking change.
After just one year of yoga practice, she didn’t only completely get rid of her muscular pain, but found a holistic and healthy approach to life, including a daily yoga and meditation practice, a vegan and balanced diet and a more mindful way of dealing with stress and life in general.
Quickly, she discovered that there was so much more to yoga than the physical practice and that yoga helps most when it’s being practiced off the mat.
Yoga, for Ricarda, is a practice of pure love and acceptance for yourself and the world around you. As she felt that she wanted to introduce this unique tool to as many people as possible, she knew that her mission was to become a teacher of yoga, herself... which she did and every class she has taught ever since has been filled with pure bliss and happiness.
If you practice yoga with Ricarda, you‘ll always get a mix of meditation, breathing exercises (pranayama), powerful and relaxing physical practice (asana) and a lot of happiness and well-being. Ricarda will make sure that you turn the yoga practice into your own, personal practice at all times.
