Welcome to our unqiue and wild yoga retreat in Indonesia. Our exclusive location is seated on a 100 hectare lush reserve within the forgotten ancestral lands of Marapu people on Sumba island. This ancient and mystical jungle reserve with brand new beachfront villas is a sanctuary for explorer, nature lover and anyone seeking a unique experience while enjoying luxury amenities. Enjoy our 2km private white sandy beach and learn how to surf on this world-class wave. Discover one of the world's last ancient megalithic cultures and take once in a life time adventures you can't experience anywhere else.
The island of Sumba lies in the east of Indonesia's archipelago, the largest set of islands in the world, and is only a 50-minute flight from Bali. Lying within the Wallacea ecozone, Sumba is one of the closest Indonesian islands to Australia, giving it it a mixture of plants and animals of Asian and Australasian origin. Discover an untouched and unexplored paradise with uncrowded waves and empty white sand beaches.
Sumba is one of the last few places in the world where megalithic burials are used as a living tradition to inter prominent individuals when they die. In Addition, Sumba is also one of the last cultures to practice Marapu relifion, a form of ancestral worship. Explore with us one of the last remaining megalithic cultures on earth and explore ancient spiritual roots from Neolithic and Bronze Ages that have survived on Sumba until today.
